Feeding: Carnivorous, filter feeder. Does not require supplemental feeding. Photosynthetic.

Care: It is generally a hardy reef animal, if maintained in the proper tank set up with strong illumination and excellent water conditions. It should be kept with a Clownfish for best results. At times, the tentacles may appear stringy; this may be due to insufficient light or the need for food.
